The primary function of the Electrical Engineer is providing I&E Engineering design and installation support for a portfolio of small capital projects and providing support to existing base operations.



Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Works with the design teams to deliver seamless small project construction work packages  

  • Responsible for insuring instrumentation, control, and electrical system design, installation, commissioning and start up are conducted in a safe and efficient manner  

  • Develops instrumentation, control, and electrical discipline deliverables and where required, works with engineering contractors to ensure all vendor supplied equipment packages meet the applicable instrument, control, and electrical specifications

  • Participates and contributes to the appropriate safety reviews (HazOps, HazAn, etc)  

Skills / Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant industry experience required.

  • Must have working knowledge on electrical systems, SCADA, instrumentation, control and communication systems, and installation practices
  • Requires a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
