Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an Offshore Integrity Supervisor with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

 

This position is located offshore in Equatorial Guinea, the rotation is 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 12 hour day / 7 day week. 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities;

 

  • Ensure the interface between the offshore construction teams and the integrity team onshore
  • Assist in collecting the information required to update the RBI and the IMS
  • Carry out NDT (UTM, MPI…) of new spools fabricated by the construction team + reporting
  • Supervise the topside integrity inspection campaigns (one or two campaigns per year) which are done by third-party rope access inspectors.
  • Carry out inspections of some of the lines
  • If trained as Rope Access L1, join the rope-access team during inspection campaigns
  • Supervision of the contractors involved in projects managed directly by the integrity department + progress reporting (e.g. deluge system upgrade, cable tray replacement, etc.).
  • Understanding of  welding procedures and repair methodologies required in regard to current API /ANSI repair methods.
  • Understanding of API / ANSI pipe and vessel requirements and pressure ratings flange requirements, etc.
  • Document control of all repairs and 3rd party requirements such as welders qualifications, welding procedures, pressure testing requirements for repairs as per API/ANSI, material specifications for repairs, etc.
  • Suggest repair methods following integrity problem.

 

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree preferred and/or relevant technical trainings/qualifications (NDT, welding, etc.)

  • PAUT Certified
  • Rope Access Level 1 Trained, preferred
  • BOSIET Certification 

 

 

Industry Experience and knowledge:

  • Several years previous relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience in inspection of piping systems and structures

  • Offshore experience preferred

 

 

PC Application Skills:

  • IT literate with proficiency in word processing, report writing and delivering presentations
  • IT literate with proficiency Microsoft Applications.
  • SAP competent to archive all the reports, notification creation.

 

 

Personal Attributes:

  • Competent in communicating in English language, verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment alongside other technical disciplines
