- Gather structure to soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data.
- Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity test measurements
- Install, test, adjust and/or repair rectifiers, anodes and CP test points/stations
- Locate pipelines and document positional pipeline information utilizing electro-magnetic and GPS equipment.
- Perform over-the-line depth of cover, close interval CP and coating surveys.
- Identify and remediate AC and/ or DC interference and foreign influence issues.
- Generate field sketches or update existing drawings with rectifiers, anodes, test stations and other design features to be included for final drafting.
- Document physical features of installations site for subsequent detailed as-built drawings
- Organize and optimize survey information collected in order to prepare reporting charts and tables
- Prepare field survey remedial recommendations and final job reports
- Understand and execute various data acquisition and assessment procedures that are specific to pipeline integrity programs.

TECHNICAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
- Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
- Assembles and installs equipment, such as shaffing, conveyors and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools and power tools.
- Constructs foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel.
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.

HELPER - Overhead Crane/Hoist Repair
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Applicants will provide assistance to a craftsman/leadmen to do quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repairs of hoist and crane equipment The ideal candidate will have some experience in electrical and mechanical skills and perform any combination of the following duties:
- Ability to safely work with various hand, electric or pneumatic hand tools
- Work from elevated heights
- Assist leadmen in various daily activities involving inspection/repair process of business

- Performs daily maintenance checks of machinery for fluids, grease, etc.

- Maintain grade by either communicating with a grade checker, using machine mounted lasers, or by use on machine mounted GPS as well as without the use of GPS.
