Wood is currently recruiting for an E&I Onshore Support Lead Engineer with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.   The position is based onshore in Equatorial Guinea, based within the onshore client facility providing support to the client offshore operations and maintenance activities.   The existing offshore facilities comprise of an FPSO, several fixed structures and several floating structures.  Subsea wells are tied back to the FPSO for processing, storage and offtake.  Subsea and dry tree wells are processed on the floating and fixed structures.  Stabilized crude is pumped from the fixed and floating structures to the FPSO for storage and offtake.   The position is rotational, working a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation.     The Electrical and Instrument Engineer is the in-country Asset focal point and technical authority for all electrical equipment, and in liaison with the Automation Engineer, all instrument equipment. The position is responsible for refining established, and creation of new, maintenance procedures to enable the offshore maintenance teams to perform effective maintenance on all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
